Virtues and benefits of Indian costus :

In Arab-Muslim tradition, Indian costus was used to treat various ailments such as migraines and pleurisy. It facilitates menstruation and urination, has a vermifuge action and acts on freckles. Stomachic, emmenagogue, antispasmodic.

Use:

- Spread, swallow, compress, instil, vaporise or Sou'oût (inhale). Spread with costus mixed with honey, water or another substance.

- For instillation and Sou'oût, simply crush the costus in oil and instil it into the nose.
