Hemp oil

You've probably already heard of hemp! What's more, you've probably heard that it's not to be consumed. It belongs to the same family as cannabis, the psychotropic drug considered to be a narcotic.

But don't panic! There's nothing illegal about the hemp oil we're talking about in this article. It's excellent for beautiful hair and skin. So it's a good idea to get your hands on it as a matter of urgency!

Hemp oil, a little-known oil

Hemp is a member of the Cannabaceae family. It's the oldest plant ever cultivated by man since the Neolithic era! And that's just the beginning! Hemp has rapidly become a rare commodity, because its use is truly multifunctional.

To this day, hemp is still used to make clothes, in the navy, but also in the building industry! But its main use remains in the cosmetics industry.

Hemp oil is a little goldmine. Completely devoid of psychotropic active ingredients, this vegetable oil can even be used sparingly in cooking.

How to use this plant oil?

You can use your hemp oil pure, or mixed with other vegetable oils. Or with essential oils.

Edible hemp oil will season your salads and condiments wonderfully. It can also be used as a cooking oil.

Precautions

We recommend you always carry out a small skin test before using a new oil. To do this, apply a few drops to the crease of the elbow 24 hours before use.

Storage

This hemp oil is very sensitive to oxidation. It should be kept for 6 months after opening, and refrigerated.
