Cade oil

Cade is a Provençal name. It actually refers to juniper, a species of shrub found throughout the Mediterranean basin. But also on the plateaux of the Massif Central.

Surprisingly, cade oil used to be obtained from the incomplete combustion of cade wood! Nowadays, it is extracted by distillation.

Cade oil, the ally of dry skin

This plant oil has been used for hundreds of years. Traditional cade ovens existed, particularly in the Provence region of France. Even then, cade oil was recognised for its dermatological benefits.

It is mainly recommended for dry skin. And for skin problems such as psoriasis and eczema.

Our cade oil is pure and 100% natural. It is available in two formats:

A vegetable oil full of virtues

This cade vegetable oil has properties for both hair and skin:

For the skin

• It has antiseptic, healing, anti-parasitic and anti-fungal properties;
• On the skin, it also calms itching linked to bacteria: psoriasis, urticaria, eczema, etc
• It relieves insect bites, but also acts as a natural mosquito repellent.

For the hair

• Used on the hair, it helps to rid the scalp of dandruff. It also adds shine and lustre;
• Cade oil can be added to your usual shampoo tosoothe itching;
• It regulates excess sebum;
• Helps stop hair loss.

How do I use cade oil?

Cade oil should always be used with another vegetable oil, such as argan oil .

It can also be mixed into your shampoos and hair or body care products.

IMPORTANT: Cade oil can be toxic. It is essential to use it on a short-term basis, taking long breaks between courses of treatment.

Precautions

As with any other vegetable oil, it is advisable to carry out an allergy test 24 hours before use. Place a few drops in the crease of the elbow. In the event of a skin reaction, discontinue use.

Cade oil is a cosmetic grade oil. Do not swallow and keep out of reach of children.
