Turnip oil has many benefits for the body. It can be used both internally and externally.
Anti-oxidant oil
One of its benefits is that it inhibits the growth of cancer cells - this is known as its "anti-oxidant" power. Used as a course of treatment, it combats anaemia. Its benefits also include boosting the immune system. It also aids digestion and reduces cholesterol levels. On the other hand, if you have concerns about osteoporosis, turnip oil has virtues that help combat this disease. It also prevents atherosclerosis. It can also help in the treatment of asthma and in the fight against obesity. It helps fight breast and colon cancer, again thanks to its anti-oxidant properties. It also prevents arthritis. Used externally, it is useful for getting rid of body odour, but also against skin diseases in general. It is an effective remedy for gout (joint pain).
How is turnip oil used?
For internal use, turnip oil, like all oils, should be taken diluted in a little water. While it is customary to say that it should be used on an empty stomach, at the rate of one teaspoon diluted in a little water, its use during a meal has proved its worth. In fact, once the food has passed through the digestive tract, the digestive enzymes activate the absorbent principles of the digestive tract, which will then absorb the vitamins and other benefits of the oil, in this caseturnip oil.
If used externally, particularly for its benefits against skin diseases, it should be applied at room temperature, for example by massaging into clean, dry skin.
Daily use, both as a treatment and as a massage, will reveal all its qualities after a few weeks.
