Mugwort oil, presentation
Mugwort, also known as Artemisia, is a plant that has been used since the dawn of time. Hippocrates and Dioscorides considered it to be the ultimate women's plant.
In fact, mugwort is useful to women from puberty onwards, with the onset of menstruation. It is also used during childbirth and for menopausal women.
This plant has also made a name for itself in traditional Chinese medicine. Practitioners use dried mugwort leaves to make moxibustion sticks.
The benefits of women's oil
Mugwort oil has many virtues:
- It soothes menstrual pain before and during menstruation;
- Mugwort oil relieves joint and muscle pain and calms rheumatism;
- Recommended for colic, diarrhoea and stomach aches in general;

How should it be used?
This artemisia oil is cosmetic grade. It can be massaged in 2 or 3 times a day during menstruation. Apply it to the lower abdomen to relieve stomach pains.
You can also mix it with another vegetable oil, or with a body cream. Like with shea butter, to intensely moisturise your skin while benefiting from the virtues of mugwort oil.
You can also use mugwort by eating the leaves and drinking them as an infusion. It's also possible to find mugwort essential oil, which is much stronger and more concentrated.
