Mint, an aromatic herb widely used in North Africa, has many medicinal properties. Used in its oil form, it has numerous benefits for the body.

Mint oil, a fresh, energising oil

Mint oil draws all its benefits from the aromatic plant from which it is extracted. Thanks to its instant cooling effect, it quickly and pleasantly refreshes the muscles of athletes. It's often said that there are few ailments that mint, and mintoil by extension, can't treat, and if the following list is anything to go by, this seems to be true. In fact, as well as being astringent and invigorating, mintoil has a number of benefits for blood circulation. This makes haemorrhoid attacks easier. Mint oil can be useful for colds and flu, particularly for its cooling properties. It calms renal colic and is a heart tonic. It is a natural expectorant, and can be applied to the chest of anyone with a dry cough. As we know, mint has digestive properties, as does this oil. It helps to evacuate intestinal gas.

Slimming properties

Used as the main ingredient in many slimming lotions, mintoil is particularly effective in slimming treatments thanks to its fresh, pore-tightening effect. Regular massaging of the areas where you want to lose weight is effective. After showering, gently massage into slightly damp skin the areas with dimpled skin (a nod to those with small saddlebags) in a circular motion, without exerting too much force. Once or twice a week should be enough to see visible results, if you're regular of course.
