Useful for both hair and skin, Jojoba oil is useful for all hair and skin types. Its regulating qualities are what make it so indispensable.

A wonderful oil

Jojoba oil is known for having a composition close to that of the skin, and more particularly that of human sebum. It therefore has sebum-regulating properties. In other words, it regulates skin production: if it is too oily, it will make the skin a little drier, and it will moisturise dry skin. It is ideal for normal skin. Like glycerine, it creates a protective film on the skin, retaining water. As a moisturiser, it is useful for dry skin. Regenerating, it regenerates the skin and smoothes the skin on the face and body. Useful for skin allergies, eczema and redness. It slows the appearance and spread of acne on the face. For the hair, it provides shine and hydration. The hair fibre is deeply moisturised and nourished.

Using Jojoba oil

As a facial treatment, after your shower or bath, when your pores have been dilated by the heat. Apply a few drops (the equivalent of a teaspoon) of Jojoba oil to your face.

For hair care, it can be used in combination with other hair oils, particularlyargan oil. Use as an oil bath before shampooing. One hour before shampooing, apply all over the hair. Concentrate on the scalp to activate the blood capillaries, which will retain the benefits of the oil. Leave on for one hour and then shampoo. You may need to shampoo twice to remove all traces of oil from your hair.
