Let's discover the benefits of this vegetable oil together, and learn how to use it on a daily basis.
Cloves, a spice from far away
Cloves are a familiar spice. At least, one that we use regularly in cooking! And maybe for a few of Grandma's recipes !
It comes from the clove tree, which can grow up to 20 metres tall! Surprising, given that a clove is no longer than a fingernail !
Native to the Moluccan islands in eastern Indonesia, the first official evidence of cloves being used dates back to 1721! Impressive, isn't it? Ah, excuse us! 1721 BC.
This incredible little flower bud is picked just before it hatches. It is then dried in the sun and used in different ways as required.
